The home’s current owner, Randall Jackson, purchased the property nearly 30 years ago for only $1.4 million. At that time, the mansion had fallen into serious disrepair. It had no roof and even lacked stairs. Jackson rebuilt the residence completely, restoring its historic charm while creating a modern luxury space.

Before Jackson’s ownership, the mansion also had a rich history. Sergei Belosselsky-Belozersky, an exiled Russian prince, once owned the property. In the late 1990s, he used it as the headquarters for the House of Free Russia. The mansion has carried pieces of New York’s past through each transformation.
